One of the most famous instrument from West Bali is called the Jegog instrument, it is made from a huge bamboo tree roughly 1 to 3 meters long and assembled to form the unique instrument that is played by youths in West Bali area. This musical instrument is played by 10 – 18 groups of people depending on how big the instrument is. Usually, this instrument is played in a ceremony, celebration, or wedding day. Also, there are competitions for Jegog Music itself. We will learn how to play and perform together with these youths.
