Balinese culture is one of the unique cultures in the world, the way Balinese life is still preserving the ancestor way of tradition, such as temple blessing. We believe we are one in the universe, we have our relationship with spirituality, our relationship with humans and our relationship with nature is based on our philosophy called “Tri Hita Karana”. We will learn how the Balinese relationship with spirituality and experience the process of how to prepare before the blessing until getting the holy water from the priest at the sacred temple. Women who have periods will not be allowed, but we will still welcome you to dress up as a Balinese and learn how to make the offerings.
Highlight Activities :
- Dressed up as a real Balinese person, the woman will use, kebaya, sarong, and sash, and the man will use sarong, udeng, and kemeja.
- Learn how to make the offering, and prepare the stuff to bring to the temple
- Head to one of the sacred temples, and learn step-by-step the Balinese blessing ceremony
- Get blessed by the priest and holly water for the blessing
