Empowering Young Minds: A Day of Teaching Balinese Children

Pak Sad’s Quest for Education: In an ancient North Bali
village, Pak Sad, a dedicated university lecturer,
believes that every child deserves a proper education.
Understanding the challenges faced by busy parents,
he selflessly dedicates his time to run a study room
for the village’s children. With the help of volunteers,
elementary and junior high school kids are taught
various subjects, from Balinese dance and traditional
music to English and Japanese. At his learning hut, we
will listen to his inspiring stories, meet the eager
children, and immerse ourselves in the beauty of local
art and culture.
