The Artisan's Harvest

The Sweet Welcome

Your experience begins in the welcoming embrace of the coffee garden, where Gede introduces you to the unique local way of starting the day. You are served freshly brewed coffee accompanied by a chunk of traditional solid palm sugar.

Rather than stirring the sugar in, Gede teaches you the time-honored method: take a small bite of the raw palm sugar, then follow it with a sip of the warm, robust black coffee. The natural sweetness melts beautifully in your mouth, providing the burst of quick energy locals rely on before exploring the demanding, hilly landscapes of North Bali.

The Fragrant Forest

Energized, you set off on a guided stroll through the lush plantation. The air here is cool and thick with the aroma of fragrant spices, tropical fruits, and endless rows of thriving coffee trees. It is a living map of the ingredients that define Balinese culture and cuisine.

The walk leads to the heart of the farm: the roasting hut. Here, you discover the mesmerizing art of traditional coffee roasting. Skilled hands demonstrate the time-honored technique of tossing beans in a wide clay pan directly over a crackling wood fire. The rich, earthy smoke fills the air, connecting you to generations of artisan craftsmanship.

"The modern machine makes the work fast, but the wood fire gives the bean its soul. The flavor is a reflection of the earth it grew in and the hands that roasted it."

Earthy Pampering

After the heat of the roasting fire, the experience transitions into pure relaxation. Coffee is not just for drinking—here, it is also highly valued for its skin-rejuvenating properties. You will be pampered with a natural, cooling coffee face mask.

Resting amidst the tranquil sounds of the highland plantation, the mask leaves your skin feeling incredibly smooth and refreshed, infused with the invigorating scent of roasted beans. The journey beautifully concludes as you gather to savor a hearty traditional Balinese lunch, bringing this sensory exploration full circle.
