Overview

About this journey

A 2-day immersive journey designed to uncover the authentic soul of Bali through the heritage, culture, spirituality, and everyday life of Denpasar. Explore the city’s historic streets, royal heritage, cultural landmarks, and local communities while gaining a deeper understanding of the traditions that have shaped Balinese identity through generations. From discovering Bali’s history and tasting local flavors to experiencing sacred purification rituals and learning about traditional offerings, this journey goes beyond sightseeing to create meaningful connections with the culture and people of Bali.

Why we built it this way

Denpasar is the city everyone lands in and nobody visits. It is also where Bali’s royal, colonial and Chinese histories sit on one street. This journey is for the curious: a walking historian, a working palace, a night market if you want it, and a morning purification before an afternoon with local artists.
