Overview

About this journey

Discover the authentic charm of West Bali through a journey that combines local community experiences, wildlife conservation, traditional livelihoods, and the peaceful coastal atmosphere of Medewi. From a local lunch stop in Tabanan to wildlife rescue and coconut-based local production, the journey offers an opportunity to connect with Bali beyond its well-known tourist destinations. Continue to Jembrana for a meaningful community experience, exploring rural landscapes, rice fields, and local family life before the drive back to the south of Bali.

Why we built it this way

Medewi is a surf town that never became a resort town, and that is exactly its charm. The road there is the journey: a chocolate maker, a coconut-oil workshop, a seafood lunch on the coast. Then a quiet night by the waves, and a morning in a Jembrana village with a family who shows you how they live with the land.
