Overview

About this journey

Journey through Bangli’s cultural heritage, where traditional village life, nature, and spirituality come together. Discover Penglipuran Village, explore the Bamboo Forest, and experience traditional Balinese cooking before continuing through peaceful rice fields to Tangkup Waterfall and the sacred Melukat ritual at Pancoran Alas Tapa. End your journey with a local lunch and meaningful memories of Bangli’s natural and cultural heritage.

Why we built it this way

Bangli is the quiet regency between Ubud and Kintamani, and it keeps some of Bali’s oldest village life. Penglipuran shows how a whole village can be laid out around harmony; the bamboo forest behind it is what the village protects. The next morning is about water: a walk through the rice fields to a waterfall, and a purification at Pancoran Alas Tapa guided by the local priest.
