Overview

About this journey

Step into Bali’s volcanic highlands for a two-day escape blending cultural heritage, sacred water traditions, geological discovery, and lakeside relaxation. Spend the night at a lakeside glamping retreat (add the room when you book) before rising early for a private 4x4 Jeep journey to breathtaking sunrise viewpoints above the clouds, followed by a warm mountaintop breakfast. Rejuvenate in natural thermal hot springs along the caldera shoreline and explore the region’s local flavors, creating a memorable balance of adventure, relaxation, nature, and culture.

Why we built it this way

Most people see Batur from a restaurant window at noon. This journey puts you inside the caldera for a night: a tent by the lake, dinner by the water, and a jeep climb in the dark to watch the sun come up over the caldera. Then a soak in the hot springs and a coffee plantation on the way home.
