Overview

About this journey

This Amed journey invites you to discover the diverse character of East Bali beyond its famous beaches and underwater attractions. Over two days, journey through traditional salt-making communities, royal heritage sites, peaceful rice terraces, and scenic landscapes while connecting with the local culture and way of life. Complete the experience with a relaxing snorkeling session in Jemeluk Bay and a beautiful sunset overlooking the Amed coastline.

Why we built it this way

Amed is a string of fishing hamlets under Mount Agung, and the salt farmers here still work the beach the old way. This journey moves between that shoreline and the royal water garden of Tirta Gangga, with a sunset over the coast, a sunrise snorkel from a boat, and the quiet rice terraces of Sibetan to finish.
