Discover the timeless culture and coastal charm of East Bali on an authentic 2-day journey in Candidasa. Day 1 immerses you in living heritage with a guided walk through the ancient Tenganan Bali Aga village, followed by a tour of Karangasem Royal Palace to explore its history and architecture. On Day 2, take to the clear coastal waters for a morning snorkeling session, followed by an authentic sea-to-table grilled fish lunch prepared at a local fisherman’s home in Sengkidu village.

East Bali holds the island’s oldest culture. Tenganan’s Bali Aga community predates the Hindu kingdoms, and their double-ikat cloth takes years to make. Pair that with a palace and a reef and you have the most concentrated two days in Bali.

Welcome to East Bali! Discover ancient indigenous traditions, majestic royal heritage, and scenic highland surroundings.

  1. Begin your journey with a local village guide on an immersive walk through Tenganan Ancient Village to learn about living Bali Aga culture, palm-leaf manuscript carving, and famous double-ikat textiles.
  2. Drive to a local restaurant for a relaxing lunch experience surrounded by East Bali’s natural scenery.
  3. Visit Karangasem Royal Palace (Puri Agung Karangasem) for a guided tour through historical courtyards, ancient pavilions, and royal court history.
  4. Take a short transfer to your accommodation to check in, unwind, and enjoy a restful evening at your leisure.

Wake up in the village, then the second chapter

Welcome to Day 2! Immerse yourself in the natural coastal beauty of East Bali with an exciting morning snorkeling session and an authentic oceanfront dining experience before wrapping up your journey.

Why is the per-person price lower for bigger groups? +

Your car, driver and guide cost roughly the same whether one or four people travel, so sharing them lowers the price per head. Every journey stays private; we never merge bookings. Groups larger than 12 get a quote.

Can we change the itinerary? +

Yes. Swap a stop, add a night, or combine this with another region. Mention it in the booking form and we will re-quote.

How do I pay? +

Pay the full price online by bank transfer (virtual account) or credit/debit card through DOKU, a licensed Indonesian payment gateway; your date is booked as soon as the payment is confirmed. Prefer to check first? Send a request and we reply with availability and how to pay. If the host cannot receive you on your date, we offer another date or a full refund. Cancellation: Full refund up to 7 days before, 50% at 3–6 days, no refund within 3 days.
